Arthur Rafus (Counselor)

I have been fly fishing for over a decade and have fished (spinning rods) since the age of five. A lifetime New England resident I grew up trolling the lakes and ponds of Vermont and New Hampshire for trout with my parents and was seasoned by my grandfather George in the Art of bass fishing. After many years fishing with traditional methods, I was drawn into rivers and the world of fly fishing; the rest is history.

I am in love with every aspect of fly fishing: the casting, the fishing, the fish and the pristine places we catch them, the bugs and everything related to them, from entomology, to the practiced Art of fly tying. During the season I work as a guide for a local outfitter, but my formal year-round career is as a journalist. I enjoy guiding and helping others ease into the sport of fly fishing; if I could make it a full-time career I would.

Steve Stanley (Counselor)

Steve cut his teeth in the industry as a fishing guide for a fly-out lodge in remote Alaska.  Steve has spent more time on the water perfecting his skills than most, and has an incredible ability to teach the tricks of the trade.

Evan Collins (Counselor)

Born and raised in Northern Vermont. I fell in love with fly fishing the moment I hooked my first trout on a fly and from there it's turned into such a big part of my life. I enjoy nymphing long beautiful riffles, throwing big streamers for big brown trout, hiking a pristine mountain stream with a 3 wt and a box of dries and, most of all, floating the bigger rivers in my drift boat.  When I am not on the river I love tying flies while watching fishing movies.

Mark Collins (Counselor)

I was born and raised in Vermont and spend most of my time fishing chasing that next big fish. I fish for every kind of fish that swims, be it salt or fresh water and I enjoy fishing the most when floating down river on a new stretch of water. Big browns on big streamers in the fall would have to be my favorite combination. Summers are packed with musky and pike floats while the spring and fall are filled with trout.  Winter time is spent on the riverbank chasing steelhead. A recent trip to New Zealand with my brother was the most memorable trip I have taken so far and I can't wait to make the trip back!

Hayden Audy (Counselor)

I grew up in Manchester, Vermont, where a large fly fishing company is headquartered, so it was only natural that I started fly fishing at a young age. Growing up I always thought it was something your grandpa did as an excuse for exercise, but after landing my first trout on a fly when I was 14 I became utterly addicted to chasing fish all over Vermont. My favorite type of fly fishing is casting dry flies to rising fish, there's nothing like seeing a big trout or smallmouth eat a fly off the top of the water. When I'm not fishing I play a lot of a guitar and enjoy planning future trips to chase fish!

Zach Rabideau (Counselor)

Zach Rabideau has been working in Vermont's fly fishing industry since 2011 in retail, as a guide, and leading various kid's fishing programs. He is an avid freshwater angler and enjoys targeting a wide variety of fish species. Zach grew up and still resides in Jericho, VT. He attended Johnson State College where he majored in history.
